Originally from Germany, Marianne has found her home in the UK. Landing in Hull some time ago, she lived in Camden for over 10 years before settling back into her chosen home of Hull. Having transformed and led the University of Hull’s Cultural Programme for over 10 years, she has found her passion in bringing people together across different disciplines and backgrounds to spark pioneering and innovative work. 

She is a producer, curator and creative instigator with over 10 years experience in programming socially responsible events, project management, cultural strategy, leadership and establishing creative partnerships. She is passionate about connecting artists, communities, higher education and cultural organisations to spark conversation, contemplation and change.
