Holly Nolan
Born in Gleadless estate Sheffield, bred in conceptual menswear Holly's work centres largely around using fashion & events to encourage accessibility & diversity of class within the arts.
Frustrated by the lack of paid opportunities in the fashion industry in 2019 she started to test run UN7TSEVEN; an alternative residency programme to support the work of creative graduates from low socio-economic backgrounds, residing in London.
Each month they selected artists and musicians to take over an industrial unit in Hackney and collaboratively create a multi sensory installation culminating in a private viewing, pop up club & open exhibition.
As an alternative to exploitative internships, low paid apprenticeships & unpaid assistant roles not financially viable for the majority of working class graduates Holly is now in the process of applying for further funding to develop this concept into a continuous programme and expand nationally.
