Alison Surtees
Alison worked as consultant and advisor during the transition from Lanternhouse International to Future's Venture, establishing the charity processes and procedures, securing the first Trustees and delivering the vision and artistic mission of the organisation. She is a Creative Producer photographer, film maker and social entrepreneur. She has worked across film, theatre and music in consultancy, curation and training. She is co-founder of Manchester District Music Archive, Learning Organiser for BECTU, ALF UK Manager at In Place of War and Board member of Ordsall Community Arts and Fuse Arts Space Bradford.
Her work has focused raising the profile of women in music, collaborative arts practice, evaluating creative projects and demonstrating impact and value of the creative sector in developing social enterprise and delivering pathways for non-traditional entrants to the sector.
